Is It All A Scam?

John Alexander. Among the many books John Alexander has written are titles like "14 Day Action Plan", "What Brokers Don't Want You To Know, Mortgage Magic", "Forms To Financial Freedom", "No Money? No Credit? No Problem", "14 Day Action Plan" and "Make More Money Than You Can Spend".  Is he legit? Below are just a few emails I got when I asked this question. :

I saw a late night informercial for John Alexander's Real Estate Riches in 14 Days program. It described a new patented technique for purchasing real estate that had never been used before. I decided to go online and do a little research about this guy. I couldn't find anything on him besides his company's website, www.paperbiz.com They go by the name Graystone Mortgage

On the site there was plenty of informational and reviews from highly satisfied customers. I decided to purchase the online version of the program for about $40. As you can see below, it not only promised to teach the methods and provide the documents to put their program to work, it also comes with a money back guarantee.

The program also came with a member's site, which I thought might provide some actual useful information. I logged on, and was saddened to see that for $40 all I had gotten was several recordings from a tele-conference. Those were even more useless!

I immediately emailed both their customer service email addresses explaining the situation and requestion a refund (graystone@paperbiz.com & john@paperbiz.com ). Never got a responce. I have about 5 differant phone numbers for this company, ALL DISCONNECTED OR CHANGE. If that doesn't spell sketchy, I don't know what does. So, I called my bank and had the charges reversed, and also filed a BBB complaint. Even my bank had a billing department number and when they called it had been changed! The rep was shocked.
